February car sales up 1.4% y-o-y to 25,447 units in Poland as car-market rally slows

Warsaw. March 20. INTERFAX-EUROPE - Poland's car sales rally stalled in February as the number of new car sales fell 10% from the January boom to 25,447 units, still up a minor 1.42% from February 2002, according to figures published for Friday release by car-market research agency Samar.

"The decline is in line with seasonal changes observed in recent years in car sales so it's not worrying thus far. In the coming months we can expect a return to growth in car sales, which are likely to reach 27,000 units in March constituting thus 12% growth against March 2002," Samar ...
