NASHVILLE, Tenn. _ Britton Johnsen feels fine. Actually, better than fine.
"I feel great," he said.
The fever is gone. No sore throat. No chills. Nothing hurts.
"My body feels great," Johnsen said. "I don't understand what's going on inside. I keep saying let me play. The doctors say it's not safe."
The doctors say that because Johnsen, the best player on the Utah basketball team, has an enlarged spleen from a bout with mononucleosis. He had an ultrasound performed Saturday morning. It showed his spleen was 18 centimeters in size, four centimeters larger than it is supposed to be.
