Mar. 24--Cracks first began to appear in the Thai and regional travel and tourism industry with speculation about a possible US-Iraq war.
The start of hostilities has now ushered in the second threshold of uncertainty over the industry's future.
But the third, and more difficult threshold, will only be known after hostilities have ended.
"We have all settled into a waiting period," said one industry official.
