In the world at large, or at least the Internet, Paul Craft may best be known as the answer to the question, "Who wrote the song `Drop Kick Me, Jesus (Through the Goal Posts of Life)'?" As noteworthy and enduring as that is (and deservedly so), Craft won a lot of hearts in the world of bluegrass three decades ago when the title track of this collection was recorded by a fledgling band from the Washington, DC area called the Seldom Scene.
