Morgan Stanley Investment Management Managing Director William Auslander admits that large-cap stocks have taken a beating over the last several years, but he remains guardedly optimistic about the future of the asset class.
As a managing director at MSIM, head of the firm's large-cap growth team and the lead portfolio manager for both the equity growth and focused equity portfolios, Auslander manages approximately $5 billion in assets.
Battling the Storm
He said he has endured the rough market climate by remaining focused on the companies he invests in, a diligence that he attributes to the overall performance of his investment portfolios.
