YOU don't have to be the best chef in the world to enjoy a great steak. My dad loves a good steak better than most meals. Welsh beef is fantastic and I've used fillet purely because it was all I had in the fridge for the photograph.
It is not cheap, though,at around pounds 14a kilo, so if you don't fancy fillet, try rump steak. Fillet tends not to need much trimming so you will not have much waste.
