When you hear the name Queen Mary I of England, you probably think of the way she killed hundreds of innocent people, burning many of them at the stake. It may be that the first image that comes to mind when you hear that name is of a wrathful, unloving person bringing sadness and death to her country, all because she wants a certain religion. Yes, that is what most people think of when they hear the name Mary Tudor. They think of the name her subjects gave her and the title of a new book: "Mary, Bloody Mary."
