Bahrain ... now where the heck is Bahrain?
That was what a friend was saying in the days before the war with Iraq began, and the Bahrainis had offered Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein a place to go into exile. Unfortunately I couldn't help my friend because I wasn't sure myself exactly where one finds Bahrain.
The answer? Head northwest of Qatar. And if you don't know where Qatar is, no problem: It's east of Saudi Arabia.
