INCREASING levels of cutting, buffing and polishing of GRP parts at Production Glassfibre in Kirkaldy created a need for dust capture at source to protect personnel and the factory environment in general. The company already had systems for removing atmospheric dust, but these were becoming inadequate and there was a need to extract dust directly from the machines that created it.
A new extraction system was designed by Dust Control Systems, and installed over a four week period.
