Little Rock, North Little Rock, Hot Springs and Pine Bluff officials hope their new advertising campaign -- "Celebrate Arkansas" -- will be successful in drawing more minority visitors to the region, especially those attractions that are historically significant to the city's black heritage and culture.
The cities and the state Department of Parks and Tourism sent Out more than 5,000 brochures in February highlighting various attractions. The campaign, which began in February currently targets Memphis residents.
The cities also host a Web site, www.celebratearkansas.com, where potential visitors can enter to win a free weekend vacation to one city ...
