CHILDREN laughing, playing football on the street.
It could be an image of innocent fun in any town in Britain. But this is not Britain. This is Kibera, the biggest slum in Kenya, possibly the biggest in Africa.
And even innocent games here are tinged with sadness.
Of the 20 or so girls and boys chasing the ball, as many as half could be Aids orphans or are HIV positive themselves.
They are the lucky ones. In Kibera, around 30 per cent of children die before their fifth birthday.
