MONTREAL - Several business and political leaders joined H. Greg Chamandy, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Gildan Activewear, Inc., to officially inaugurate the company's state-of-the-art yarn-spinning facility on Feb. 3 in Montreal.
The Henri-Bourassa plant represents an investment exceeding $20 million in acquisition and upgrading costs and creates more than 150 new jobs. The facility covers 180,000 square feet.
