2003 MAR 31 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Researchers found that children with peanut allergy have a higher anxiety level than children with diabetes, according to a study presented at the 60th anniversary meeting of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI).
Natalie J. Avery, University of Southampton, United Kingdom, and colleagues investigated the impact peanut allergy has on a child's quality of life by studying 20 children with peanut allergy and 20 children with insulin dependent diabetes mellitus.
