Mar. 28--WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio--The West Chester Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire that occurred at a grocery store Thursday morning.
Fire officials were notified of the fire at Al Noor Market, 7835 B Cincinnati-Dayton Road, at 8:25 a.m. Thursday, minutes after the store's security alarm system detected motion in the rear of the building.
Firefighters extinguished a small fire in the rear of the store and worked to ventilate the building, which was heavy with smoke, said Mike Mays, West Chester assistant fire chief.
