Pullman, WA (Sports Network) - Washington State University has scheduled a news conference for Saturday afternoon at which time Dick Bennett is expected to be named the 15th head coach in the history of Cougar basketball.

Bennett resigned at Wisconsin three games into the 2000-01 season after leading the Badgers to the Final Four the previous campaign. The 59-year-old has a career record of 453-258 in 24-plus years as a head coach, including a 93-69 mark at Wisconsin.
