SHE has, quite simply, never got over the death of her father when she was nine years old - the man she worshipped and who, in turn, called her his 'little princess'. Almost a quarter of a century on, Elvis still casts a lengthy shadow over Lisa Marie Presley's life.
The notoriously mixed-up 35-year-old is about to step even deeper into that shadow - by launching a singing career of her own. Earlier this month, in the unprepossessing surroundings of an Orlando hotel conference room, she took her first steps towards becoming a pop star.
Visibly nervous - indeed, at times her voice was hardly audible over her backing ...
