Mar. 31--Adelphia Communications got court approval to pull its headquarters from its hometown in northern Pennsylvania on Friday.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Robert Gerber ruled that the cable company can lease space in a Denver suburb at an estimated cost of $825,000 a year, relocating its headquarters from Coudersport, Pa.
Adelphia's board approved the move in January, along with the hiring of ex-AT&T executive William Schleyer to run the company.
