PROJECT OVERVIEW:
An international joint venture, operating under the name of AJMAN SEWERAGE (PRIVATE) CO. LTD., was recently established in view of building the first integrated wastewater scheme in the Gulf Emirate of Ajman. The partners in the planned, long-stalled undertaking, and their respective shareholdings include THAMES WATER AQUA INTERNATIONAL (60%), a subsidiary of THAMES WATER of the UK, BLACK & VEATCH (B&V) of the US 10%, the Government of Ajman (20%) and SIX CONSTRUCT of the UAE (6%).
The cost to complete the project will amount to $140,000,000 of new physical infrastructure within the first 4 years. As a result, the country will have ...
