CHICAGO -- CHICAGO, April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Tekom today announced the opening of the Kent State University Financial Engineering Trading Floor, which is the world's first futures and options trading floor for higher education. The new $3-million facility, based in Kent, Ohio, was designed and built by Chicago-based Tekom, a provider of technology solutions for financial firms, global electronic exchanges, and educational institutions. Kent State will host a news conference and grand opening celebration, which will be webcast live today at 1:30 p.m. EST (http://www.kent.edu/).
