He has seen plenty of blue arrows sweeping up the shores of the Euphrates River. And he's seen other green arrows spiking out from cities such as Basra and Baghdad. And he's seen tiny explosions, oil derricks and tanks and planes scattered over fiery orange, glum ochre or muddy green that represents the landmass of Iraq, which is smaller than Texas but bigger than California.
