TWO of Liverpool's favourite sons can gain a notable home win on the second day of the Grand National meeting when Seebald lines up for the Martell Cognac Melling Chase, writes Graham Cunningham.
Martin Pipe's gelding is owned by Steve McManaman and Robbie Fowler, who still have a massive following on Merseyside despite the fact that they play their football in Madrid and Manchester nowadays.
