Ford Motor Credit Co. has moved all of its auto loan and lease accounts to a single servicing system, outsourcing the processing of the data to its software vendor, Alltel Information Services Inc., an executive says.
Ford Credit, a subsidiary of Ford Motor Co., replaced four different loan and lease servicing systems that it previously used, moving eight million current loan and lease accounts, plus historical records on an additional 365 million accounts, said Paul Nussbaum, the senior vice president of information technology at Ford Credit.
