CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. (NYSE:CBL) yesterday held the official groundbreaking ceremonies for South Carolina's newest regional mall, Coastal Grand - Myrtle Beach. The Company began initial site work on the development in July 2002. A joint venture with Burroughs & Chapin Company, Inc., the mall will ultimately be a 1.5 million-square-foot development and is scheduled to open on March 17, 2004.
