Hold those opinions
As the son of a Vietnam veteran and the husband of a Gulf War-era Marine, I want people to know how important it is for U.S. citizens to put aside their personal feelings and show support for our troops. They are doing their job as ordered legally by this country's leaders.
If anyone has a problem with those orders, don't reelect the leaders.
Even if our troops do not fully support the political rationalization of their deployment, they are still expected to serve, and possibly die for this country. How many of us civilians can say the same? How many of us have been willing, in the aftermath of 9/11, to allow the ...
