Blazer Harold (Harry) G. Blazer, age 79, of St. Paul passed away March 13, 2003. Loving husband, stepfather and grandfather. Harold spent his life giving joy and entertainment through his musical gifts. Delivering papers as a youth to pay for clarinet and saxophone lessons, he began his professional music career at 18 playing with the Guy DeLeo band. In 61 years as a musician, Harold played with the Vern Wellington band, the Lynn Kerns band, 20 years with Dick Marone & the Velvetones, his own Harold Blazer Trio, and many others. Whether performing in ballrooms or the local community center, Harold's music, charm, and wit were always a joy to those in attendance. Survived ...
