Australian financial institution, AMP, is selling its pastoral assets, held by Stanbroke Pastoral Company. Stanbroke is Australia's largest landholder, owning an area equivalent to 6.7 per cent of the whole state of Queensland. Its interests encompass 11.7 million hectares of cattle country stretching from the Northern Territory across northern Australia into Queensland's Channel country. The company's 27 cattle stations were put on the market in early April 2003.
