Apr. 6--In case you haven't noticed, fixed mortgage rates are on the way up -- not dramatically, but up just the same.
Should you worry?
Well, in the short term, perhaps you should worry a little, especially if you are a first-time home buyer with no financial flexibility for whom low rates make a purchase affordable.
In the long term, probably not. Mortgage rates are like a roller-coaster ride that never ends -- they go up, they go down, and they level off for a bit, they go up, they go down. ...
