A FOOLISH prank on a North Wales dual carriage way saw a young driver given an eight-month youth custody sentence yesterday.

Mold Crown Court heard how barman Steven James Chambers squirted a fire extinguisher into his friend's face as he was driving down the A550 towards Shotwick.

The 20-year-old from Mount Road, Birkenhead,Wirral, admitted a charge of dangerous driving but was given a custodial sentence despite a plea for leniency by his victim. Chambers was also banned from driving for three years and ordered to take a test before he gets behind the wheel again.
