Precision bombing of Iraq's Republican Guard will continue until Iraqi forces surrender or are killed, the general in charge of the air attacks in the war said yesterday.
"We'll continue to kill these guys until they give up," Air Force Lt. Gen. T. Michael "Buzz" Moseley said in a telephone interview. Gen. Moseley told reporters at the Pentagon that U.S. and allied air forces have begun providing urban combat air support in Baghdad, as U.S. forces begin moving into the Iraqi capital.
