Calhoun Community College has been granted national accreditation for its hvacr program. The program was granted a six-year accreditation, the highest level awarded by HYAC Excellence.
HVAC Excellence granted the accreditation after conducting an on-site evaluation of the Decatur, Ala., program. The program was reviewed in the following areas: curriculum, faculty, student facilities, placement services, financial aid, training facilities, and equipment and safety.
It was determined that the program, its chairman, Ben Parton Jr., and staff met or exceeded all standards set forth by HVAC Excellence which are based, in part, on the National Skill Standards. ...
