THE South Wales Valleys are ripe for exploitation as a tourist venue, but they should focus on the area's natural beauty instead of big man-made attractions, a study says.
A new report from the Bevan Foundation believes that despite the lack of typical tourist facilities, the Valleys can still offer successful holiday packages for visitors.
