The University of Oregon's Music Today Festival, a biennial celebration of contemporary music, will include seven concerts and premiere performances of more than 20 composi- tions.
It begins Friday and runs through April 17 at the UO School of Music, 961 E. 18th Ave.
The festival will feature Argentina's Santa Fe Guitar Quartet, the piano duo Quattro Mani, UO and guest choruses singing works from the international "Waging Peace through Singing" initiative, two concerts of new music by regional composers and two percussion programs, including a tribute to the late Lou Harrison.
