Apr. 10--Racing ahead of two competitors, AES Corp. cleared a major hurdle Wednesday for building a $600 million natural gas pipeline between Broward and the Bahamas by winning preliminary approval from federal authorities.
"It's a big step," beamed Aaron Samson, project director for the AES Ocean Express pipeline.
