SARAH BEAUSANG joined the world of insurance after leaving school in 1981.
Her first role was office junior, responsible for opening and sorting the post, daily banking and general phone and face-to-face counter enquiries.
In 1984, Sarah decided to move into another brokerage where she was responsible for manual home and motor quotations.
She dealt with each enquiry from the quotation stage to completing the proposal form, issuing the cover note and then sending out the documentation once received from the insurance company.
