A Dutch state pension fund has denied it will haemorrhage contributors following its failure to pass a regulatory rolling five-year benchmark.
The Agricultural and Food Supply (AVH) industry pension fund scored lower than a -1.28 test threshold over five years, with -1.67. It was only beaten by the Tyre and Wheels industry pension fund which scored -1.93.
The z-score test, released by the Dutch Association of Industry-wide Pension Funds (Vereniging van Bedrijfstakpensioenfondsen or VB), measures the performance of a pension fund against benchmark portfolios after adjusting for risk and costs.
