New Haven, Conn. -- A new study of low-carbohydrate diets published in this week's Journal of the American Medical Association shows that carbohydrate content in a person's diet is not associated with weight loss.
"We found that calorie content and how long you're on the diet are the factors that predict weight loss, and not carbohydrates," said co-author Dawn M. Bravata, M.D., assistant professor of medicine at Yale School of Medicine.
