Apr. 10--The National Labor Relations Board has decided to solve a dispute over eligibility of some workers before counting ballots from today's election about installing a union at Riverside Trace HealthCare and Rehabilitation Center in Rochester.
Organizer Geoff Betts says 110 employees can vote on joining Minneapolis-based Local 113 of the Service Employees International Union.
However, the federal agency has agreed to review a challenge by the management of the nursing home to the voting eligibility of 12 licensed practical nurses and a laundry worker. ...
