Someday, hopefully in the not-too-distant future, the people of Iraq will come to explore the more popular themes of freedom: They will speak as they like, pray as they choose and read or publish what they want.
At the moment, however, it seems liberation has spawned a far more pertinent freedom: The freedom to plunder.
Now, if we were talking about Detroit, or Los Angeles, or New York, those scenes of people smashing windows, ransacking hotel lobbies and scurrying through the streets like crazed ants hauling ungodly amounts of swag might trouble an esteemed public figure like, say, Donald Rumsfeld.
