WITH the feast of Palm Sunday, weve reached the most solemn part of the Church calendar Holy Week. In Pilipino, Mahal na Araw.
It's called "Mahal" not because of the rising cost of gasoline and prime commodities these days but rather because it's the most important week of the year.

On Holy Week, we celebrate the redemptive work of God brought about by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Thus we should reflect on these great events with an eye on the "happy ending." Unfortunately for many this Christ-centered commemoration is gradually being eroded by mundane activities.
