The City of Perth Amboy took a 'major step forward recently when Mayor Joseph Vas and Matrix Development Group hosted a ceremony to kick off the $20 million Perth Amboy Business Park redevelopment project. The undertaking is expected to transform an idle portion of Chevron's Perth Amboy Asphalt Refinery into a regional mecca for business and industry. The project, which is being constructed by Matrix Development Group of Cranbury, N.J., will be the first of the city's four cornerstone redevelopment projects to get underway.
