Buffets, Inc. announced that it agreed to a postponement of its sale of 13 Original Roadhouse Grill restaurants to approximately June 25, 2003, in exchange for a $1 million dollar extension fee. Buffets has cumulatively received $2 million in extension fees from the prospective purchaser, which requested the extensions in order to obtain necessary landlord consents, liquor license transfers, and to satisfy other conditions precedent to closing.
Buffets also announced that it would be conducting a conference call to discuss operating results for the quarter ended April 9, 2003, (16 ...
