Apr. 12--TOKYO--Stocks are likely to remain relatively sluggish next week, as blue-chip issues may continue to face heavy selling by institutional investors amid worries about the U.S. and Japanese economies.
Analysts predict the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average will move between 7,500 and 8,100 in the coming week after fluctuating between 7,807.99 and 8,249.98 this past week.
On Friday, the Nikkei index hit a fresh 20-year closing low by ending at 7,816.49, its lowest finish since the bellwether ended at 7,803.18 on Jan. 25, 1983.
