NEW COURTHOUSE PAINTING HELPS CLEANSE COUNTY MEETING ROOM

A new 2-by-3-foot painting now hangs proudly in an honored spot in the Will County Board's meeting room. That spot on the wall there has been empty since Nov. 30.

On that date, I told the story behind the painting that was hanging there then.

The old painting of the county's courthouse had been on the board room wall for almost 30 years.

But no one on the present county board knew the story behind that painting. The artist was a killer.
