JOLIET -- Events like Wish Upon A Star's 6th annual Easter parade have the ability to put smiles on the faces of children -- at the actual parade and what this fund-raiser is able to do for seriously or terminally ill children.
Titus Lee, Jr., 8, of Joliet, and Kara Anne Marquardt, 7, of Frankfort, both suffer from spinal disorders.
Titus was recently given a laptop computer and Kara will soon be going to Disney World.
Events like the Easter parade allow Wish Upon A Star to continue granting wishes to those Joliet-area children experiencing grave illnesses, as the organization has been doing for more than a decade.
