Artist: Class VI of Joliet.
Medium: Classic Rock.
Background: Class VI has over 120 years of combined musical experience, said Bill Swanberg, 39, of Joliet.
"The guy with the least experience still has over 15 years," he said.
"Everyone but Marty (Schuur) has played professionally for a living and Marty should have; he's got so much talent."
Swanberg himself has been playing music since he was 7 and wanted to take saxophone lessons.
His mother, "Snooks" Swanberg, had been a professional keyboard player.
"She did the lounges and, at Christmas time, all of the department stores... there weren't too many malls way back then.
And she did it on the mighty Wurlitzer," said Swanberg.
