Article: NEW YEAR WILL BRING PLETHORA OF NEW STATE LAWS IN ILLINOIS

SPRINGFIELD -- For state government, the new year brings a new Legislature and, ultimately, new laws. It also means that state laws that the last Legislature passed take effect on New Year's Day.
