Strike 'n Spare II bowling center personifies progress each year in making improvements and furthering Lockport's worth. Strike 'n Spare opened in 1958 with 12 lanes, and now, 38 state-of-the-art lanes are operated by Dane Walker, owner of the family-run business, with his wife, Celeste; his son Larry; and his daughter Anita and her husband, Mike.

The past season has been in keeping with the Strike 'n Spare improvement program.

In May, the business became the largest Cosmic Bowl operation in the area.
