Article: JESSE JACKSON DOES NOT SPEAK FOR ME

I am thoroughly fed up with your paper for using the words of Jesse Jackson as being representative of the views of all blacks (African-Americans). Jesse Jackson does not speak for me nor many of the enlightened blacks in this country. Many blacks are aware of Jesse's ulterior motives and are in agreement with Rep. J. C. Watts, Congressman from Oklahoma that Jesse Jackson is using the black race in a manner that equates to that of a pimp.

Jesse will use any opportunity to get his face and name in the media, consider, for example, the Mitsubishi, R.R. Donnelly, Texaco and Museum of Science and Industry conflicts.
