Are you a night person trapped in a morning person's job? Here are some tips that can help you get a good night's sleep and make it a little easier to roll out of bed in the morning:
Sleep only as much as you need to feel well-rested during the following day.
Don't stretch out your sleep.
You won't feel refreshed.
You'll reset your "biological clock" and may have trouble sleeping the next night.
Keep a regular sleep schedule.
Go to bed and get up at the same time both weekdays and weekends.
This will help you to develop a regular sleep/wake rhythm.
Do not work at falling asleep.
If you can't sleep, don't force it.
This just creates anxiety that keeps you awake.
