Article: GJA BOWLING HALL OF FAME MAKES ROOM FOR 4 MORE

The Greater Joliet Area Bowling Hall of Fame has again extended its recognition scope with the addition of four 1997 inductees to be installed Oct. 4 at the GJA Awards Dinner. For Superior Performance: Joliet's Joe Sak Sr. and Larry Viano and Braidwood's Patti Nymeyer-Schultz; for Meritorious Service: Lockport's Bob Trouper.

While their Superior Performances merit due recognition, both are also contributing to bowling.

Joe Sak with Joe Pomykala founded and ran the JnJ Doubles tournament for 15 years.

Sak, a 30-year Caterpillar Tractor Company employee -- a manufacturing process technician -- has nine Cat tourney titles: team, doubles and all-events.
